Tyler Vanderlaan
Hello I'm Tyler VanderLaan, the founder and designer at Birchstone Landscape Design. I've worked in the landscape industry for over a decade, gaining a large majority of my experience building residential landscapes. I started working for a local Landscaper in Burlington when I joined the work-force at 14. After receiving my Landscape Technician Diploma at Niagara College I started my career in design & sales for another local landscaping company. Here is where I truly learned about my passion for sitting down with clients and bringing their vision to life!
Based on the experience gained here, I decided to start my own freelance design company. I enjoy designing functional and aesthetic landscapes for client's with a focus on their individual needs and wants. Each project brings it's own challenges with unique preferences, life-styles, and budgets.
